What's a Cookie, Actually
A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to store and read later. Websites can also use similar browser storage, such as local storage, to remember a setting. This policy explains both where they are relevant to ADHD Superpower.
Strictly Necessary
ADHD Superpower stores your Analytics choice and this policy's version number in site-owned local storage. That preference is necessary so the site can remember whether Google Analytics is allowed; it does not contain your name, email address, or message.
Cloudflare Turnstile supports contact-form security and may initialize on the homepage. It can use cookies or similar browser technology as part of its security checks. It is treated as Necessary rather than Analytics because the contact form relies on it to reduce automated abuse.
Analytics
Google analytics are optional and off by default. Before a choice is made, and after Analytics is rejected, Google Tag Manager is not loaded by the site and Google Analytics is not started.
If you select Accept analytics, the site loads Google Tag Manager (GTM-PT38RKM9), which loads Google Analytics 4 for measurement ID G-21FR4X5C3D. GA4 may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to measure site use. Advertising-related Google consent remains denied.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is present separately from Google Analytics. It is not loaded through GTM and does not use the site's GA4 measurement ID. Cloudflare describes its Web Analytics service as privacy-focused and cookie-free; its processing is governed by Cloudflare's own documentation and policies.
Advertising
Advertising is not currently active. The consent system keeps ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization denied, and it does not show an Advertising toggle. If Google AdSense is added later, it will require a separate consent implementation and policy review before advertising is enabled.

Controlling Cookies
On a first visit, you can select Reject analytics or Accept analytics. Both choices leave Necessary functions available. Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time to review or change the Analytics choice.
If you withdraw Analytics consent, the site stores the rejected choice, returns Google consent to denied, attempts to remove known first-party GA cookies (_ga and _ga_*), and reloads if Google tags were already active. Future page loads will not load GTM unless Analytics is accepted again. You can also delete site data through your browser settings.
Changes to This Policy
If the consent categories or third-party services change, this page and the consent version will be reviewed. AdSense will not be activated merely because the code is ready for a future Advertising category.
