About Me

I configure invisible automations for a living. At home, I'm usually the last one to notice when something's on fire.

The Day Job

Hello — I work in DevOps and test automation here in Finland. Most days, that means building things that quietly do their job in the background while I stare at logs and wonder why something that worked yesterday has suddenly developed opinions.

I don't have ADHD myself — I have ADD. That means my internal engines are running, but I'm mostly quiet and off in my own world. At work, this is a superpower: I can hyperfocus for hours on end without anyone interrupting me, quietly making a server do exactly what I want while the rest of the building forgets I exist.

The Production Environment

At home… well, it's a bit different.

My family is my wife, a son, and two daughters. Our living room is definitely not a quiet workspace, since both my wife and son have diagnosed ADHD. When I retreat into my DevOps bubble and stare at my screen with a glazed-over look, the rest of the family is running five different projects at full blast simultaneously. By the time I wake up to reality, there are usually at least three fires burning in our family's production environment.

It's a household that runs on the exact same chaotic, interest-driven energy this whole site is about — just with more shouting, more forgotten shoes, and considerably fewer changelogs.

Why This Site Exists

I built this site because in the middle of all this chaos, you need a bit of humor and some actual tools to survive — whether it's dealing with code or everyday life.

The timers, the checklists, the “just start already” nudges — none of that is hypothetical. They're the same small tricks I lean on to actually get something done, whether that's at a desk full of invisible automations or in a living room currently hosting three unrelated crises.

Who This Is For

If you're the one quietly hyperfocusing in your own bubble while the household runs at full volume around you — or you're the one generating that volume — this site was built for both ends of that living room.

If this site helped you survive a Tuesday, you can buy me a coffee.
